INASCON 2016 has passed, registration is not possible.


The conference fee is set to 150 EUR and covers accommodation in the conference hotel, food (full board, i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner), transportation, and social activities during the time of the conference. We tried to keep the fee as low as possible and it is possible that the fee will drop before the registration opens due to more sponsoring.

Note that the conference fee does NOT include travel expenses, i.e. every participant has to take care of how he/she travels to Baarlo and back home.

The payment information will be available after successful registration.


We would like to invite Bachelor, Master, PhD students, and post-docs to apply for participation at INASCON 2016. However, Master and PhD students will be the main target group of participants. Every participant is asked to present his/her research as a poster (A0, portrait) or a (12+3)-minutes talk. We especially motivate and encourage Bachelor and Master students to apply, even if you can only present the results from a small research project.


The process of registration is separated into three different steps.

1. Application

In the first step, you apply for participation at INASCON 2016 by filling out a registration form. Among your personal information, we ask you to give us a short description (maximal 300 words) of your work you would like to present at the conference. This description is not meant to be a flawless abstract for the conference booklet. It merely serves us to decide whether your work fits into the context of INASCON 2016. If we think it does, your application is confirmed and we will reserve you a seat at INASCON 2016.

2. Payment of conference fee

After confirmation of your application, you will receive an email with further information and a username and password for the “Your registration” section, where you can upload your abstract for the conference booklet (see below) and edit your personal information you have entered. Additionally, you can find further information regarding the payment of the conference fee. Note that you should make your reservation of a seat at INASCON 2016 permanent by paying the conference fee as soon as possible. Due to the complexity of the payment system we do not have a money-back policy.

3. Abstract for the conference booklet

Please do not forget to upload your final abstract for the conference booklet. For that purpose we provide a .doc template via e-mail, where you can also find more detailed information on abstract length, layout, etc. The deadline for the submission of the abstract is the 20th of July.
