Castle de Berckt is a historic castle in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands. It was built in the 13th century and owned by the richest family in Baarlo till the end of the 16th century (family van Eyll). In 1830 it got demolished and rebuilt in Italian style, like they did with more medieval buildings. Since 1994 it is an event and congress centre. The castle is located in serene and green surroundings with river De Maas flowing nearby which is often a place for outdoor swimming in the summer.

There are different ways of traveling to the Castle. The nearest airport is Dusseldorf. Other possible airports are Eindhoven or Schiphol. From all these airports you must take a train (or bus) to Venlo. In Venlo you take bus 77 to bus stop De Berckt. From here it is only 5 minutes walking to the hotel.
